Cancellations & Refunds Policy
At TripBooking.ai, we aim to make every booking clear and hassle-free. This policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled for all services booked through our Platform — including hotels, flights, and tours.
1. General Terms
TripBooking acts as a facilitator between customers and third-party service providers (hotels, airlines, tour operators).
All cancellations and refunds are governed by the respective provider’s terms and conditions.
- Cancellation or modification requests must be submitted via our official support channels (email, WhatsApp, or call).
- Refunds (if applicable) are processed only after receiving confirmation from the provider.
- All refunds are issued to the original payment method used during booking.
- The online transaction fee is non-refundable in all cases.
2. Cancellation Procedure (Applies to All Services)
To process any cancellation or refund request, we require a written request from the customer.
- Written requests may be sent via Email, WhatsApp message, or Direct Message to TripBooking.ai’s official channels.
- The timestamp of the message or email will be treated as the official cancellation time.
- Phone calls or verbal communication alone will not be considered a valid cancellation request.
- Cancellation requests must include your Booking ID, Name, and Service Type (Hotel, Flight, or Tour).
TripBooking will process the request based on the provider’s policy and confirm the applicable refund amount after deducting any penalties or fees.
3. Hotel Bookings
Cancellations are subject to the option you select during booking — Refundable or Non-Refundable.
If you book under the Non-Refundable option, no cancellation or refund will be provided under any circumstances (including no-shows or early check-outs).
For Refundable bookings, the following cancellation charges apply unless otherwise stated on the hotel listing:

Important:
- The Online Transaction Fee is non-refundable and will always be deducted from the refund amount.
- Early check-outs are treated as cancellations within 24 hours and are non-refundable.
- Refunds are processed within 7–14 business days after confirmation from the hotel.
4. Flight Bookings
All flight changes, cancellations, and refunds are subject to the respective airline’s fare rules and refund policy.
a. Airline and TripBooking Charges
- Any change, reschedule, or cancellation will incur airline-imposed fees plus TripBooking service charges.
- The total refund amount (if applicable) will be calculated after deducting all applicable airline and TripBooking fees.
- Refunds will be processed only after receiving formal approval from the airline.
- If the airline deems the ticket non-refundable, no refund will be issued.
b. Refund Timelines
- Refunds may take up to 30 business days, depending on the airline’s processing time.
- Refunds will always be credited to the original payment method used for the booking.
- TripBooking has no control over airline refund timelines but will follow up on your behalf to ensure timely processing.
c. Important Notes
- Airlines may impose fare differences or penalties during flight rescheduling.
- TripBooking reserves the right to charge a nominal service fee for handling flight cancellations or refund coordination.
- Flight refunds are subject to airline verification, and partial refunds may apply for used or partially flown segments.
5. Tour Packages
All tour cancellations and refunds are governed by the respective tour operator’s policy, along with TripBooking’s terms below.
a. Cancellation Procedure
- We require written cancellation requests via Email, WhatsApp message, or Direct Message to TripBooking.ai’s official channels.
- The timestamp of the written request will be considered the official cancellation time.
- Requests must include your Booking ID and cancellation details.
b. Refund Policy
- In exceptional cases (e.g., natural disasters, national shutdowns), alternate travel dates or a full refund may be offered at TripBooking.ai’s discretion.
- If the tour is canceled by the operator, the customer is entitled to a full refund.
- Bookings during public holidays, festivals, or blackout dates are strictly non-refundable.
- This policy applies to all bookings and is non-negotiable.
- Refunds, if applicable, will be made after deducting supplier and service fees, and only after the operator confirms eligibility.
c. Processing Time
Refunds for tours are typically processed within 10–25 business days after approval from the operator or supplier.
6. No-Show or Late Arrival
Failure to check in or appear on the travel date without prior notice will be treated as a no-show, and applicable penalties will be charged per provider policy.
For hotels, this usually equals the first-night room charge; for flights, it results in ticket forfeiture.
7. Force Majeure
In cases of natural disasters, government restrictions, or airline/tour operator shutdowns, refunds (if applicable) will depend on the provider’s Force Majeure policy.
TripBooking bears no liability for cancellations or disruptions caused by events beyond its control.
